Dr. Medeiros is an adult board-certified psychiatrist who created Forte Psychiatry to provide collaborative psychiatric treatment to adults seeking comprehensive mental health care. Dr. Medeiros believes the best care one can receive begins when there is trust between the patient and the doctor, creating a safe space for each person’s inner worlds.

Your first appointments will consist of a careful and comprehensive evaluation, including gathering psychiatric and medical history, ordering labs (when needed), reviewing medical records, and obtaining other relevant information. Thereafter, we will discuss recommendations on how to best move forward which may include medication management, psychotherapy, referrals to other programs, lifestyle modification, or any other alternatives that would be most beneficial.
